Valerie Boagno

Valérie Boagno (born April 2, 1965 in Yverdon-les-Bains ; † July 18, 2019 ) was a Swiss media manager.

Professional activities

Valérie Boagno was General Director of the French-speaking daily Le Temps from 2010 to 2014 , where she was responsible for a major restructuring.

Boagno was President of Médias Suisses, the umbrella organization for French-language print media publishers, and a member of the board of directors of the AG for Advertising Media Research (Wemf). She was also a member of the board of directors of the Swiss Dispatch Agency (SDA). In 2010, Boagno was voted media manager of the year by a Swiss journalist .

Private life

At the age of 50 Valérie Boagno fell ill with cancer, four years later she died of the consequences of the disease.
