Der Schweizer Journalist (spelling in the Schweizer journalist logo ) has been a specialist magazine for journalists that has been published since late 2005 .

General

The Swiss journalist is published six times a year by Medienfachverlag Oberauer, Salzburg, which also publishes the media magazines Medium Magazin , Der Österreichische Journalist and the media service Newsroom.de . The editors of the Swiss journalist are the journalist and author Margrit Sprecher , the journalist Karl Lüönd , the journalist and former director of the MAZ , Sylvia Egli von Matt , and the media scientist Stephan Russ-Mohl .

The magazine specializes in the print sector and is aimed primarily at journalists in Switzerland . According to media data, the print run is an average of 5100 copies. Kurt W. Zimmermann has been the editor-in-chief since the beginning of 2016 ; he succeeded Markus Wiegand . In April 2019, David Sieber , formerly editor-in-chief of Südostschweiz and Basellandschaftliche Zeitung , took over as editor-in-chief.
