Valdocco
Valdocco is a district of Turin , the name of which is commonly used today for the first oratorio for young people founded by St. John Bosco in 1846 . This institution is still considered the Casa madre of the Salesians of Don Bosco, even if the Generalate is now in Rome . Don Bosco died in Valdocco in 1888. In the basilica are the relics of him, Dominikus Savio and Maria Mazzarello .
Today there are:

- the Church of St. Francis de Sales
- the Pinardi Chapel
- the Provincialate of the Province of Piedmont
- the Italian mission procuration of the Salesians of Don Bosco
- the Don Bosco Middle School
- a vocational school (Cnos-Fap Centro Valdocco)
