Vale de Afonsinho is a place and a former municipality ( Freguesia ) in the Portuguese district of Figueira de Castelo Rodrigo . The community had 83 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2011).
On September 29, 2013, the municipalities of Vale de Afonsinho, Vilar de Amargo and Algodres were merged to form the new municipality of União das Freguesias de Algodres, Vale de Afonsinho e Vilar de Amargo .
