Valeo Siemens eAutomotive is a German automotive supplier based in Erlangen , who in 2016 as a joint venture of the companies Valeo and Siemens was founded. Valeo Siemens produces components for electric cars , which are installed in both all-electric automobiles and hybrid vehicles . These include electric motors, DC-DC converters and on-board chargers.

When the company was founded, the Siemens group brought its eCar-Powertrain division into the joint venture. Siemens and Valeo each held 50% of the company shares after it was founded. According to consistent media reports, Siemens will most likely sell its shares in Valeo Siemens eAutomotive to Valeo at the end of 2021.
