Valery Valeryevna Zabruskova

Valerija Valerjewna Sabruskova ( Russian Валерия Валерьевна Забрускова , English transcription Valeriya Zabruskova ; born July 29, 1975 in Tatarstan ) is a Russian javelin thrower. Her personal best distance is 64.49 meters, established in June 2003 in Tula .

Sabruskowa was at the World Athletics Championships 2003 in Paris with 59.51 m ninth. At the athletics world finals in the same year she finished sixth with 60.67 m. A year later she became Russian javelin champion with 62.54 m and was eliminated from the qualification at the Olympic Games in Athens with 57.53 m as 27th. At the world finals in 2004 she came in seventh with 58.63 m. In 2009 she managed to qualify again for a major event, but was eliminated from the qualification at the World Athletics Championships in Berlin with 52.87 m.

Valery Sabruskova is 1.68 m tall and has a competition weight of 75 kg.
