Paolo Cavallina

Paolo Cavallina (born January 31, 1916 in Florence , † February 10, 1986 in Sanremo ) was an Italian journalist , writer and film director .

Life

As a student, Cavallina took part in the 1935 Littoriali in the section “Art, Film and Narration”. He later worked as a journalist for Gazzetta del Popolo and then embarked on a successful career as a presenter and commentator on television. For the big screen he took on a role in 1970 as a performer in Damiano Damiani's The Clan That Walled Up His Enemies Alive , and in the same year co-directed the documentary Germania 7 donne a testa . Cavallina had his first publication in 1943 with the volume of short stories Estate al mare ; He had briefly pursued a political career in the 1970s.
