The Vallugabahn in Tyrol consists of two cable car routes with a transfer station on the Vallugagrat , which climbs the Galzig mountain at 2184 m above sea level. A. with the eponymous mountain Valluga 2809 m above sea level. A. connects. The train crosses the Vorarlberg area. It is the continuation of the Galzigbahn .
Vallugabahn I
The Vallugabahn I is an aerial tramway operated by the Arlberger Bergbahnen AG and offers space for 45 people. The track was built in 1954 by the Steurer company and was last overhauled in 2002. The peculiarities of this railway are the very deep valleys that are overcome with it and the fact that with a length of 3007 m it only stands on two supports. In the film The Black Lightning with Toni Sailer , a scene was filmed in one of the two gondolas of the Vallugabahn. The valley station is in the same building as the mountain station of the Galzigbahn.

Vallugabahn II
The Vallugabahn II is an aerial tramway that covers a distance of 368 m without supports. It was built one year after the Vallugabahn I by Pohlig Drahtseilbahnen as a 5-person aerial tramway and was also last refurbished in 2002. Today there are two cabins for six people each. The train connects the mountain station of Vallugabahn I with the summit of the Valluga mountain. Together with the latter and the Galzigbahn , it connects the village of St. Anton am Arlberg with the highest mountain in the Ski Arlberg ski area . The station buildings were designed by Wilhelm Stigler .
