Valpadana is a tractor brand of the Italian Argo Tractors SpA. The brand mainly offers small tractors, for example for fruit growing and viticulture . The Valpadana brand is used exclusively in Italy; the tractor series are sold abroad under the Landini or McCormick brands .

history

In 1935, the Stefani family founded a company for the manufacture of agricultural machinery in San Martino in Rio . At the beginning, bar mowers and single-axle tractors were manufactured. In 1960 the company developed its first all-wheel drive tractor. In 1966 the company SEP was founded, which specialized in the manufacture and sale of mowing machines. In 1988 a tractor with a rotating driver's seat was developed.

In 1995 Valpadana was acquired by the tractor manufacturer Landini SpA . In 2001 the SEP SpA was renamed Valpadana SpA. In 2007, the tractor manufacturers Landini, McCormick and Valpadana were integrated into Argo Tractors SpA , which was founded in the previous year , and have only been the company's brands since then.

The most powerful tractor currently offered by Valpadana is the 90115 model with a maximum output of 102 hp.
