Vanja Perišić
Vanja Perišić (born July 5, 1985 in Split ) is a Croatian athlete .
The 800-meter runner took part in the 2006 European Championships , but was eliminated in the run-up. At the U23 European Championships in 2007 she was able to win the bronze medal. In June 2008 she increased her personal best to 2: 00.21 minutes. Shortly afterwards, Perišić took part in the Olympic Games in Beijing . Her doping test , however, was positive for Epo and she was banned for two years.
