Schramme11 is a German rock band from Wiesloch in Baden-Württemberg . Basically it is about the ska band The Busters , which gave themselves a new band name to play different music. The Busters still exists. The two projects try to keep the band members separate.
history
Working with Farin Urlaub gave the Busters the desire to also write texts in German. Together with the producer team Elephant Music , which was already behind the band Santiano , they tried a new beginning under a new name and with a different style of music. So the Ska influences were largely removed and elements of Balkan Pop , Klezmer and Russian folklore were adopted. Influences from Americana and country music are also represented. Subtle echoes of the hit can also be found. Hagen Stoll von Haudegen worked closely with the band and wrote some pieces. The band signed with Sony Music and released their debut album Through thick and thin on January 15, 2016 . Her debut album reached number 44 on the German album charts.
The band name refers to the scratches that you get in life and that remain as part of your vita. The "11" refers to the number of band members.
