Variant (Volkswagen)
As a variant called Volkswagen (and until 1972, Audi ) his station wagon models . The first VW Variant was the 1500 Variant ( Type 3 ) in early 1962. It was followed in 1969 by the 411 Variant ( Type 4 ) and in 1973 by the Passat Variant (B1) . Variant models from the Golf , Polo and Bora series were also brought out in the 1990s .
An exception is the Chinese Passat Variant , which is surprisingly a notchback sedan .
