Vasil Kušej (born May 24, 2000 in Ústí nad Labem ) is a Czech football player . He is on loan from Dynamo Dresden to FK Ústí nad Labem and is a young Czech national player.
Career
society
Kušej began his career at FK Ústí nad Labem . For the 2015/16 season he moved to Germany to the B-Juniors at Dynamo Dresden . In his first season he came to 15 appearances in the B-Junioren-Bundesliga , in which he scored two goals. In the 2016/17 season he scored 17 goals in 16 games for the Dresden U-17 team. As early as November 2016, he played against Hamburger SV for the first time for Dynamo's U-19 team in the A-Juniors Bundesliga . In the 2016/17 season, in addition to his 16 appearances for the B-Juniors, he also made five for the A-Juniors.
For the 2017/18 season he was firmly in the squad. In September 2017, Kušej received a professional contract that ran until June 2022. In the 2017/18 season he made 20 Bundesliga appearances in which he scored 14 goals. In the 2018/19 season, he scored twelve goals in as many missions.
For the 2019/20 season he moved into the professional squad of the second division, but was awarded without a commitment to the Austrian second division FC Wacker Innsbruck in September 2019 . He made his debut in the second division in October 2019 when he came on as a substitute for Karim Conté in the 66th minute on the tenth matchday of that season against Kapfenberger SV .
After four appearances for the Tyroleans, he returned to Dresden in June 2020 due to his loan contract, which ended during the current season, after it had not been extended. For the 2020/21 season, Kušej moved on loan to the Czech second division club FK Ústí nad Labem, where he had once started his career.
National team
Kušej played for the Czech U16 team from 2015 . In 2017 he played for the U17 team . Between 2017 and 2018 he was also used for the U18 team .
In May 2018, the striker made his debut against Kazakhstan for the U19 selection . With this he also took part in the EM in 2019 . In this, however, Kušej retired with the Czechs as the last of group B in the preliminary round and was used in all three games during the tournament.
