Vasily Gherghy (born January 3, 1974 in Ismajil , Ukrainian SSR ) is a former Moldovan biathlete .
Vasily Gherghy took part in the 1994 Winter Olympics, making him the first Moldovan biathlete to compete in the Olympics . In the sprint he finished 68th with three errors and 70th in the individual with nine errors. Both placements were the last in the ranking. Gherghy did not have any other assignments at major events.
