Vassholisen

The Vassholisen ( Norwegian for water hole ice ) is an ice shelf on the Princess Astrid coast of the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . It is located in a depression on the northern edge of the Schirmacher Oasis .
Scientists from the Norwegian Polar Institute named it in 1968.
