Vauxhall Silver Aero

The Vauxhall Silver Aero was a prototype made by the automaker Vauxhall . The car was built in 1980 based on the Cavalier MK 1 Sportshatch . It was exhibited at the North American International Auto Show in October 1980 .

The car has a 2.4 liter turbo engine with 150 hp . Special vents were built into the bonnet to help cool the engine . The Silver Aero has a rear wing that is attached relatively low to the rear of the car. The tires are from Goodyear and are fitted with special light alloy rims .

There is a carpet in the interior and plush on the door panels . A radio and cassette player are integrated in the center console .
