The Veľký Javorník (594 m) is a mountain in the Little Carpathians and located 5 kilometers west of the town of Svaty Jur and 15 kilometers north of Bratislava in Slovakia .
Details
Via the yellow-marked hiking trail that leads from Svätý Jur to Stupava , you reach an asphalt road near Biely Kríž , on which you reach the summit of Veľký Javorník after around 850 meters in a northerly direction .
The summit is fenced and not open to the public. There is a restricted area with a radar station for flight monitoring .
At a distance of about one kilometer as the crow flies from Veký Javorník is the 584 m high peak of Malý Javorník .
