Vedran Mornar

Vedran Mornar (born May 29, 1959 in Zagreb ) is a Croatian computer scientist and politician (non-party). From June 2014 to January 2016 he was Minister for Science, Education and Sport.

Life

Vedran Mornar studied electrical engineering , specializing in information technology , at the University of Zagreb ; In 1990 he received his doctorate . In 1998 he became an associate professor, and in 2003 a full professor of computer science at the University of Zagreb.

In June 2014, he succeeded Željko Jovanović as Minister of Science, Education and Sport in the cabinet of Zoran Milanović .
