Veiholmen

Veiholmen is the largest island in the Norwegian municipality of Smøla .

Smøla is located at the northernmost tip of Møre og Romsdal between the cities of Kristiansund and Trondheim on the Norwegian west coast and consists of several islands. With its 400 inhabitants, Veiholmen is one of the larger settlements in Smøla. The island can be reached via a bridge .

In the north of the island is the old fishing station, which is still in operation today and is an integral part of the region's fishing industry .

Another economic branch of the island and the municipality is tourism . The island is just as popular with Norwegians as it is with anglers , hikers and divers from other countries.
