Veljko Milanković

Veljko Milanković ( Serbian Вељко Миланковић, born January 5, 1955 in Kremna, in Prnjavor ; † February 14, 1993 in Belgrade ) was a Serbian leader of the Vukovi sa Vučjaka battalion within the 1st Krajina Corps of the Vojska Republike Srpske .

Milanković fought first in the Croatian and then in the Bosnian War on the Serbian side against the Croats and the Bosniaks in the Republika Srpska and Republika Srpska Krajina . During the war he took part in combat operations in the towns of Derventa , Modriča and Okučani . His unit participated in the Corridor '92 military operation .

On February 14, 1993, Milanković died in a hospital in Belgrade after being seriously injured as a result of fighting.
