The Velodromo Bicentenario is a cycling track in Aguascalientes, Mexico .

The cycling track was opened in May 2010. The track itself is 250 meters long and made of wood. The building covers an area of ​​65,000 square meters and the roof consists of an inflatable dome. The architect of the velodrome is Humberto Encinas Martínez , who is responsible for other cycle tracks in Mexico, such as the Velódromo Panamericano in Tlaquepaque near Guadalajara . The track itself was planned by the American Peter Junek .

The Velodrom has hosted international competitions on several occasions, such as the Pan American Championships in Track Cycling 2014, the UCI Paracycling Track World Championships in 2014 , the third run of the Track Cycling World Cup 2012/13 and the second run in the 2013/14 season . On September 12, 2015, the American cyclist Molly Shaffer Van Houweling set a new hour record in Aguascalientes with 46.274 kilometers .

The operator of the cycle track is the Instituto del Deporte del Estado de Aguascalientes .
