UCI Paracycling World Track Championships 2014

Sarah Storey (here with her Paralympics medals) was the most successful athlete at this World Cup.

The UCI Para-cycling Track World Championships 2014 were held from 10 to 13 April 2014 in Mexico Aguascalientes instead.

The most successful female athlete at the World Championships was Sarah Storey from Britain with two gold and one bronze medals. Her compatriot Sophie Thornhill won gold twice. Even Neil Fachie , also from Britain, twice won gold as the Australian Jayme Richardson and the US-American Jamie Whitmore . The German Denise Schindler drove home with two silver medals.

Jason Niblett , José Antonio Villanueva , Stefan Nimke , Erik Mohs and Yorick Bos , among others, took part as prominent pilots for the visually impaired athletes from the field of the non-disabled . A total of around 140 athletes took part in the world championships.
