Veloroute 6 (Hamburg)
The bicycle route 6 is one of the fourteen bike routes in Hamburg . It leads from the Rathausmarkt in the city of Hamburg for 18 kilometers in a northeastern direction via Hohenfelde , Hamburg-Dulsberg , Farmsen and Berne to Volksdorf .

Veloroute 5 and Veloroute 6 run from the town hall along the Inner Alster, Hamburger Kunsthalle and the Outer Alster to the Mundsburg Bridge . From Mundsburger Brücke, Veloroute 6 branches off into Hartwicusstraße. Veloroute 5 continues straight ahead.
The Veloroute 6 then leads along the Mundsburg Canal, Kuhmühlenteich, Eilbek Canal and the Eilbek as a wide bicycle road. The Kuhmühlenbrücke is driven under. The crossing of the Lerchenfeld intersection is regulated by traffic lights. At the intersection with Richardstrasse and Wagnerstrasse, cyclists have no right of way. The crossing of Von-Essen-Strasse in a curve is obstructed by through traffic. From the Friedrichsberg S-Bahn station, the route goes via Dulsberg, Wandsbek-Gartenstadt underground station , Farmsen-Berne and ends at Volksdorf underground station
