Music style and lyrics

In the booklet the style is given as "Satanic-War Metal", in the Petrified 'Zine the style was described as chaotic War Metal, which is reminiscent of early possessed with the dark vocal style of Beherit ; But the band is somewhat unique as they play Black Metal with extreme aggression and anger. The Canadian band Blasphemy is also considered an influence, and there are parallels to Sarcófagos I.NRI The drums are played very quickly, the album contains no breaks and no pauses between the songs. Ulysses from The Metal Crypt described Bestial Warlust as a "warmongering, Christian-hating black metal band" with demonic and bellicose- occult songs.

According to Kai Wendel from Rock Hard , "the drums are rattling" in the background, and "the guitarists and bass players are just trying to keep up with them at the same speed". Satan's Stole My Teddybear's John Chedsey described the style as rumbling.

Reviews

Wendel counts Bestial Warlust one of the bands that keep crawling "[out of the cloaks of songwriting ingenuity") that "are so bad that even small minds from the Ore Mountains like the loving Jana-Jünger von Belmez are lifted into the swirling spheres of artistic claim". The musicians understood it “brilliantly to spit in the faces of the many hopeful but unsigned acts of the underground with their work. None of the contributors seem to really know what to play. […] Ingenious riffs are absolutely nil in this thrashing. And you even have the courage to paraphrase the noises of the fifth in the group as vocals. Normally, such plates become absolute slackers. But somebody must have given the band the tip that this kind of junk is best served to Black Metal fans who are currently buying anything that looks extreme and true. ”According to Chedsey, the musicians created a“ mansch ”and were“ unable to do more to pretend to be angry ”. All songs are interchangeable and show no sense of dynamism.

Ulysses, on the other hand, definitely sees variation in the songs. According to him, the short playing time flatters the album rather than making it hungry for more; among other things on this point Vengeance War 'till Death reminds of INRI , but is much more chaotic and devastating. And even though the satanic are becoming increasingly clichéd and bands are affirming their "Kvlt" status through mythological borrowings, the band is putting Satan into Black Metal, which regardless of other opinions is also its topic. Vengeance War 'till Death is in no way exceptional. But it's a good album that is a little overrated.

In the Petrified 'Zine , the first two tracks were described as not particularly impressive, but afterwards the band showed their true originality and anger. Frank Stöver from Voices from the Darkside described Vengeance War 'till Death as "damn EXTREME" and the vocals as sick and probably the best thing about this release.
