Association for training constructors in Bern
The Association of Training Constructors Bern (VAKB for short) is an association founded in 1973 within the meaning of the Civil Code , Art. 60ff., With its legal seat in Büetigen BE, Switzerland.
The association has 90 member companies and 5 vocational schools , which train a total of around 350 apprentices in the field of design engineers EFZ .
purpose
- Support of the training companies in the training of design engineer apprentices
- Cooperation with other institutions and organizations such as the OPET , the secondary school and vocational training office, the vocational schools and Swissmem in order to ensure qualified young professionals for industry and commerce .
Association activities
- Implementation of the inter-company courses at the Thun , Bern and Burgdorf locations
- Carrying out an intermediate examination in the 2nd year of apprenticeship (as a position assessment and preparation for the partial examination)
- Holding an annual teacher conference in Bern
- Holding an annual apprenticeship graduation ceremony, alternately in Thun, Bern and Biel
- Participation in the Bern training fair BAM
- Conducting specialist courses for teachers
