history

In March 2011, the VSB (civil law society) was formed from active members of various personnel representatives of the armed forces from the "United Free List" as an alternative to the interest groups for soldiers of the Bundeswehr. Since February 2012 the "Association of Soldiers in the Bundeswehr e. V. “entered in the register of associations .

Goal setting

The Association of Soldiers in the Federal Armed Forces advocates better and more comprehensive participation for all soldiers. He wants to achieve a better compatibility of family and work / service for all members of the Bundeswehr. To this end, in a first step he calls for the consistent implementation of existing instructions and use of the given options by all superiors. In addition, he advocates a reform of the measures taken to date to make career paths more permeable. Above all, the VSB wants to offer soldiers who have not yet been organized in association politics a new opportunity for organized participation. This applies to the committees of the staff representation as well as to the role of the demanding partner towards the employer. The association marks u. a. the unique selling point of being the only lobby group in the armed forces that works exclusively for the soldiers' status group. The association sees itself as a critical and constructive partner vis-à-vis the employer as well as politicians, who vigorously represents the interests of its members, also with the aim of helping to create the necessary attractiveness of the Bundeswehr as an employer.

structure

The federal management consists of two chairmen, two deputy chairmen, a federal manager, a treasurer, a secretary and a legal advisor. In addition to the federal management, the North, East, South and West division chairs are on the federal executive board. In addition, there are the Federal Commissioners for the Navy , Medical Services , Air Force , Army , Armed Forces Base (SKB), CIR and civil organizational areas. The board of directors is supplemented by the representatives for reservist service, survivors and veterans (RHV), for the administration of justice, for press management, for personnel marketing, family and work / service, international cooperation and departments directly subordinate to the Federal Ministry of Defense. Below the federal executive committee, the association is divided into eight groups of countries, in which the comradeships of the individual federal states can be found. Smaller federal states are combined into a state group.
