Association for international understanding

The Association for International Understanding was a German pacifist association founded by Otfried Nippold and Alfred Hermann Fried in 1911 , which was close to the international association Conciliation Internationale , which in turn was founded in 1905 by Paul Henri d'Estournelles de Constant .

The association moved in the academic milieu. His goal was through codification of international law international and the establishment of tribunals political tensions between the countries, in particular the German Reich and to reduce France. He held congresses in Heidelberg in 1912 and in Nuremberg in 1913, which were attended by many French people. The association was very close to the magazine “März” .
