The United Seifenfabriken Stuttgart was a laundry detergent and cleaning agent company in Stuttgart . It emerged in 1897 from the merger of the Stuttgart soap factories Gebrüder Rau , Karl Müller & Co and Gotthilf Nissle , the largest and most important of which, the Gebr. Rau company, dates back to 1862. In 1903 all of these operations were relocated to Untertürkheim to Mercedesstrasse 141, where the most modern production buildings were built by Philipp Jakob Manz . From 1897 to 1919 the company was a GmbH , from 1919 to 1922 a KG , from 1922 it was transformed into a stock corporation.

The Hamburg soap factory Binder & Ketels (Sunlicht AG) took over the Vereinigte Seifenfabriken Stuttgart AG in 1926 until 1932. By resolution of the general assembly in 1933 the headquarters of the Vereinigte Seifenfabriken Stuttgart AG, which had closed the business year 1932 with a loss, was relocated to Berlin .

Production in Untertürkheim was relocated to Mannheim in 1933 . Daimler-Benz bought the facilities and buildings in Untertürkheim . All buildings were destroyed in World War II. Coordinates: 48 ° 47 ′ 1.8 ″  N , 9 ° 14 ′ 43.9 ″  E
