Aalen transport association
The Verkehrsgemeinschaft Aalen (VGA) is a transport association in the Ostalb district , which is an amalgamation of four bus companies. The VGA covers the area of the old district of Aalen .
Originally there was also a community tariff (zone tariff) within the VGA for all bus lines in the transport area, the rail transport of DB AG was not included. In December 2007, this joint tariff was replaced by the OstalbMobil district tariff , which also includes rail transport. The OstalbMobil tariff zones in the VGA traffic area largely correspond to the earlier VGA tariff zones.
The managing directors are Joachim Schubert and Jörg Heiliger (as of 2008). The information center is located at the bus station in Aalen, opposite the train station .
