history

In 1946, the dairy owner Albert Beck from Großkuchen combined the transport of dairy products with the transport of people between Großkuchen and Heidenheim by adding a body to a truck. In 1947, Günther Schubert brought in a defective omnibus from the wartime, which he made roadworthy together with Albert Beck. In the same year Beck and Schubert, without even having founded a company, received the order from Carl Zeiss AG to set up a passenger works traffic that was to connect the communities on the Härtsfeld with the Zeiss works in Oberkochen. In the same year, the two entrepreneurs are founding members of the Association of Baden-Württemberg Bus Entrepreneurs .

Finally, in 1948, the Beck + Schubert bus company was officially founded. In 1949, after the traffic law licenses were granted, the Schweindorf - Ohmenheim - Waldhausen - Aalen and Waldhausen - Ebnat - Oberkochen lines were established. These lines are operated by buses from Magirus-Deutz . At the same time, the company begins to offer travel and excursion services in addition to regular services, using the same buses as for regular services.

In 1952 the company's headquarters are relocated to Ebnat. In addition to the construction of a depot, the Aalen - Waldhausen - Lauchheim line is set up, and passenger transport for the companies Alfing Kessler Werke and Spießhofer & Braun (now: Triumph) is added.

After the closure of the Härtsfeldbahn , the Neresheim - Aalen line is taken over by Beck + Schubert. 1974 the company takes over the city traffic in Oberkochen.

In 1984 a new depot was inaugurated. In 1997 the travel agency Flugbörse Beck + Schubert was founded in Aalen. The current managing director is Joachim Schubert.
