Ohmenheim (Swabian: "Omna") is a district of Neresheim in Baden-Württemberg's Ostalb district . The hamlet of Dehlingen belongs to Ohmenheim .

Location and transport links

Ohmenheim is located northeast of the city center of Neresheim, not far from the eastern border with Bavaria on the B 466 .

The place is on the Härtsfeld , a plateau in the east of the Swabian Alb .

history

In 1727 Johann Michael Zink painted the ceiling frescoes in the parish church of Ohmenheim.

The once independent town of Ohmenheim was incorporated into Neresheim on January 1, 1975.
