Brinkmann & Bose is a book publisher based in Berlin .

The publishing house was founded in 1980 by Günter Karl Bose and Erich Brinkmann in Berlin and managed together for 15 years. In 1995, Bose accepted a professorship for typography at the Leipzig School of Graphics and Book Art . The publishing house has been managed by Erich Brinkmann and Rike Felka since 1999 . The main focus of the program is the theory of science.

Awards

In 2003 the publisher was awarded the Kurt Wolff Foundation Prize. On the occasion of its 30th anniversary, the Museum für Angewandte Kunst Frankfurt has dedicated an exhibition to the publisher.
