history

The Klemm + Oelschläger publishing house was founded in 1991 by Ulrich Klemm and Thomas Oelschläger in Münster and expanded to include the Ulm publishing location in 1993 . The management of the publishing house is located in Münster.

While philosophical and educational publications were in the foreground in the first years of publishing, the following years gradually added the topics of social history and the history of medicine. In addition, the area of ​​local and regional historical publications has been expanded into a publishing focus.

Publishing program

As of 2010, various non-fiction books on regional topics dominate the publishing program , in particular the Baden-Württemberg / Bavaria region as well as the (international) Danube region and (medical) historical topics with a focus on National Socialism / " euthanasia ". The children's books and English books divisions have recently been added. The “ Hand Lexicon for Montessori Pedagogy ” is used in the training of Montessori teachers.
