The Weber & Zucht publishing house was a publishing house for alternative living , non-violence and anarchism in Kassel . It was run by Helga Weber and Wolfgang Zucht .

history

The establishment was in close connection with the peace movement in Germany, the nonviolent action groups (including the Federation of Nonviolent Action Groups ), internationally with the War Resisters International and in particular with the magazine Graswurzelrevolution, which has been published since 1972 .

The publishing house existed from 1976 and since 1980 has been a member of the German Book Trade Association . In addition to the publishing house, there was the mail order book trade for pacifist and anarchist books.

In 2014, the publishing house and mail order book trade merged with the Graswurzelrevolution publishing house. The books of the former Weber & Zucht publishing house will continue to be sold by this company.

Publishing program

35 publications (as of 2009) have appeared. The published books cover the topics of nonviolence , alternative living, nonviolent action , anarchism , conscientious objection and pacifism . The publisher has published works about Lev Nikolajewitsch Tolstoy , Mahatma Gandhi , Clara Gertrud Wichmann , Lanza del Vasto .
