In 1965 he became co-editor of the Direkten Aktion - papers for nonviolence and anarchism , published in Hanover , a forerunner of the anarcho - pacifist monthly magazine ' Graswurzelrevolution ', which was founded in 1972 and is still published today .

At the end of the 1960s, Helga Weber and Wolfgang Zucht lived in London , where they worked for four to five years, among other things, for War Resisters' International (WRI). In 1973 they returned to Germany, took part in the Grassroots Revolution (GWR) and, together with other people from the environment of the active newspaper makers, founded the Grassroots Workshop.

As grassroots workshop activists, Helga Weber and Wolfgang Zucht published the information service for non-violent organizers from July 1974 to December 1980 , which had previously been published by the non- violent action Betzdorf under a slightly different name. In the mid-1970s, Wolfgang Zucht was active in the anti-nuclear movement , in particular in non-violent actions and the campaign to refuse electricity against nuclear energy. As a co-initiator of the Federation of Nonviolent Action Groups , he took over the German and then the international coordination for the International Nonviolent March for Demilitarization in 1980/81 . In 1982 both left the grass roots workshop, which was continued in Göttingen and later in Cologne . From 1992 to 1995, Wolfgang Zucht was co-editor of the Graswurzelrevolution calendar and until the end of his life co-editor of the magazine Graswurzelrevolution.
