The publisher of the Isenburg moved Christian literature and materials for community work. It is based in Bendorf / Rhein in Rhineland-Palatinate.

The publishing house an der Isenburg was founded in 1986 as a limited liability company in Isenburg by Ruth and Emil Maier. Ruth Maier was the managing director. In 1999 the publishing house moved to Bendorf. In 2009, the founder's daughter, Bianka Maier, took over the management. Many other longsellers , the online shop and warehouse sales were created under her leadership . The publishing house was named after the community of Isenburg in Westerwald. Based on the ruins of the Isenburg , the publishing house has a castle in its emblem, as does the coat of arms of the local community. In 2016 the publisher celebrates its 30th anniversary.

Purpose / publishing program

The Verlag an der Isenburg is primarily a provider of products with a Christian background. These mainly include church, gift and children's books as well as picture tapes. A fundamental concern here is also conveying Christian values, especially to children and young people. Materials are offered for both Protestant and Catholic communities. Many well-known authors such as Ilse Schweizer , Anselm Grün , Hanns Dieter Hüsch , Phil Bosmans , Dietrich Bonhoeffer , Jörg Zink , Elli Michler , Christa Spilling-Nöker have been publishing their texts in popular illustrated books for years. In addition, in cooperation with various artists, such as Anne Fischer, individual interpretations of the respective annual slogans are designed.
