The publishing house of the Episcopal Ordinariate Limburg, with its seat in Limburg an der Lahn , was founded in 1827 together with the Diocese of Limburg . He leads a scientific and cultural history program. The publishing house publishes accompanying books and catalogs for exhibitions at the Diözesanmuseum Limburg and the Dommuseum Frankfurt . In addition to individual publications, the publisher brings out the Limburg magazine for religion and education Eulenfisch . The publishing house is headed by Martin W. Ramb.

Since 2009 there has been a cooperation in the field of art and church guides with the art publisher Schnell und Steiner in Regensburg. For the exhibition “In the Sign of the Cross. The Limburger Staurothek and its history ”appeared in 2009 for the first time in a joint exhibition catalog and a photo art calendar with close-ups of the important Limburg cross reliquary. A sub-series “Art Treasures in the Diocese of Limburg” was opened in the series of small art guides. Numerous churches and art treasures of the diocese are already included in the series, such as the Imperial Cathedral of St. Bartholomew , the Limburg Cathedral and Wetzlar Cathedral , the All Saints Chapel in Lahnstein, St. Lubentius in Dietkirchen, St. Marien in Neu Anspach and the Limburg Staurothek . In 2010, the 16th completely revised edition of the Art Guide to Limburg Cathedral and the Small Art Guide to the Haus am Dom in Frankfurt am Main followed. For the 1100th anniversary of Limburg, both publishers have published an art guide to the city of Limburg and the High Cathedral of Limburg.

At the Frankfurt Book Fair 2010, a digital version of the Little Art Guide to Limburg Cathedral for iPhone and iPad was presented to the public. With the art guide app from the “artguide” series, visitors can be guided through the cathedral using multimedia. An illustrated e-book provides information for reading. An interactive map shows the way through the cathedral, and a time table summarizes the most important historical dates. The program also provides an overview of church service times and cathedral tours.

In July 2014, the Butzon & Bercker publishing house, based in Kevelaer, published the book “This is how we celebrated at that time: Experienced stories through the year”, which emerged from a writing workshop of the Diocese of Limburg. Seven women and two men wrote down their memories of church holidays during the Second World War and the post-war period .
