Vermont Square is a neighborhood in the region South Los Angeles in Los Angeles . It was named after Vermont Avenue , which runs through the district.

Vermont Square is bounded to the north by Exposition Boulevard , to the east by Main Street , to the south by Slauson Avenue, and to the west by Western Avenue . Main streets in the district are Vermont Avenue, Normandie Avenue , Figueroa Street and Hoover Street. The Harbor Freeway (I-110) runs through the neighborhood.
