Veronica Grace Boland (born March 18, 1899 in Scranton , Pennsylvania , † June 19, 1982 ibid) was an American politician . In 1942 and 1943 she represented the state of Pennsylvania in the US House of Representatives .

Career

Veronica Boland attended her home public schools and Scranton Technical High School . She married the politician Patrick J. Boland and like him became a member of the Democratic Party . After the death of her husband, who passed away as a sitting congressman, she was elected as his successor to Congress in the by-election in the eleventh constituency of Pennsylvania . Between November 3, 1942 and March 3, 1943 it ended the legislative period that had begun there. She was not available for another term of office.

Nothing is known about the professional life of Veronica Boland before and after her brief conference. She died on June 19, 1982 in Scranton.
