Veronica Redd

Veronica Redd (born August 8, 1948 in Washington, DC ) is an American actress .

The African-American actress played minor roles in television series for ten years before she first appeared in a feature film in 1988 at the age of forty . As the successor to Marguerite Ray , she played the housekeeper Mamie Johnson in the US soap Shadow of Passion from 1990 to 1994 and from 1999 to 2004 .
