Veronika Brandt

Veronika Brandt (born February 26, 1957 in Magdeburg ) is a former German politician ( DVU ). From 1998 to 2002 she was a member of the state parliament of Saxony-Anhalt .

Education and life

Veronika Brandt graduated from the 10-class POS in 1973 and was a switchboard operator at the Magdeburg telecommunications office from 1973 to 1984. In 1976 he graduated as a skilled worker for telephone traffic. From 1985 to 1990 she was a clerk for innovation in the large gas works in Magdeburg. In 1989 she graduated as a business administrator and was a postal worker from 1990 to 1995. From 1995 to 1996 she took a computer course. Veronika Brandt is married and has three children.

politics

Veronika Brandt joined the DVU in 1997 and was a member of the state and district executive boards. She was elected to the state parliament via the state list in the state elections in Saxony-Anhalt in 1998 . In the state parliament she was a member of the Committee on Law and Constitution, the Election Review Committee and the Committee on Petitions. As of January 2000, it was non-attached. Since February 14, 2000 she belonged to the parliamentary group German People's Union - Freedom List, which was renamed in March 2001 to parliamentary group German People's Union. She was initially deputy chairwoman and since February 2001 Parliamentary Director of this group. To state election in 2002 it has not raced for more.
