Veronika Koller
Veronika Koller (born February 2, 1973 in Tokyo , Japan ) is an Austrian linguist. She is currently a lecturer at the Department of Linguistics and English Language at Lancaster University , United Kingdom .
Life
Veronika Koller majored in English and a minor in Arabic / Islamic Studies at the University of Vienna , where she completed her master's degree in 1998 and her doctorate in 2003 . From 2000 to 2004 she was assistant professor at the Vienna University of Economics and Business . She was a Lecturer from 2004–2008 and a Senior Lecturer at Lancaster University from 2008–2015 , where she has been a Reader in Discourse Studies since 2015 .
