Veronika Kratochwil (born September 9, 1988 in Baden ) is an Austrian diver , radio presenter and editor . She starts for the Verein Schwimm Union Wien in the discipline of jumping from the 1 m and 3 m board.

She participated in the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing in part. In the 3 m jumping she was 27th and was eliminated in the preliminary competition.

Kratochwil has so far participated in two swimming world championships. In 2005 she was 20th on the 1m board and 14th on the 3m board in Montreal . In 2009 she reached eleventh place from the 1m board in Rome . At the European Swimming Championships , her best result is a ninth place in 2006 in Budapest .

Kratochwil started diving when he was eight. She is a sports soldier in Army Sports Südstadt. In 2009 she also began studying.

Since December 2015 Kratochwil has been working for Hitradio Ö3 as an editor and since April 2020 also as the presenter of the Ö3 Hitnacht .
