Please note the note on the applicable legal version.

The Ordinance on Aviation Personnel ( LuftPersV ) regulated the training and licensing of aviation personnel in Germany. Following the introduction of Regulation (EU) No. 1178/2011 (EU-FCL) on April 8, 2015, this area is largely regulated at EU level and the associated licenses have been converted into licenses under EU-FCL law. At the same time, most of the paragraphs of the LuftPersV have been dropped.

The training and licensing of air sports equipment , flight models and flight engineers are still regulated by the LuftPersV .
