procedure

At a container terminal , the forwarding agent usually takes over a standardized EU container or loads goods into roll containers / trolleys or onto euro pallets . Then he receives the delivery note / waybill and begins the actual freight traffic to the customer, whereby several recipients can be approached one after the other.

Also parcel services and the postal service are involved in distribution. School buses and omnibuses with passengers from tour operators offer a special route in passenger transport . This is also called distribution traffic.
