The administrative association Regis-Breitingen was an administrative association in the Free State of Saxony in the district of Leipzig . It was located in the southwest of the district, about 7 km southwest of the district town of Borna and about 12 km north of the city of Altenburg . The community area was in the south of the Leipzig lowland bay on the border with Thuringia . Part of the newly developed Leipziger Neuseenland with the Borna reservoir was located in the community area. The federal highway 176 ran north and the B 93 east of the community. The Leipzig – Hof railway line also ran through the community area. The Pleiße flowed through the community area in a north-south direction.
On July 1, 2014 Deutzen was incorporated into Neukieritzsch and the administrative community was dissolved.
