Administrative court Stuttgart
The Stuttgart Administrative Court is one of four administrative courts in the state of Baden-Württemberg .
Seat and District of the Court
The Stuttgart Administrative Court (VG) has its seat in Stuttgart . The judicial district includes the administrative district of Stuttgart .
Courthouse
The former courthouse was located at Augustenstrasse 5 in Stuttgart-West until June 11, 2018 . The building is part of an office complex from the 1980s that extends from Augustenstrasse 5 to 15 and as a whole bears the name Augustenhof .
In the 18th century, the so-called court kitchen garden was located on the site, where the family of the poet and playwright Friedrich Schiller lived at that time . A plaque on the courthouse reminds that Schiller met the philosopher Johann Gottlieb Fichte here in May 1794 .
The Stuttgart Administrative Court has been based at Schellingstrasse 15, 70174 Stuttgart since June 11, 2018.

The Stuttgart Administrative Court is subordinate to the Baden-Württemberg Administrative Court in Mannheim . The Federal Administrative Court is superordinate to this.
