Vesna Jelić (born March 22, 1982 in Novo Mesto , SR Slovenia ) is a former Croatian national volleyball player who played on the outside and diagonal position.

Career

Vesna Jelić competed with the Croatian national team at the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney, Australia and finished in seventh place.

Private

Vesna is the sister of volleyball player Barbara Jelić Ružić , who was also part of the Croatian national team at the 2000 Olympic Games. They are the daughters of volleyball player Ivica Jelić , who was the head coach of the Croatian national team in 2000 and who played for Yugoslavia at the 1980 Olympic Games .
