The Via di Ripetta is a street in the historic center of Rome , by the Piazza del Popolo runs out.

It was in 1518 under the name Via Leonina by Raphael and Antonio da Sangallo commissioned by Pope Leo X created. The road leads along the banks of the Tiber to the Augustus mausoleum and to the Ripetta harbor on the Tiber, built by Alessandro Specchi , from which it got its current name. If you cross the Tiber, you get to the Vatican .

Via di Ripetta is part of the Tridente , the trident, which also includes Via del Babuino and Via del Corso .
