Victor Brooks (athlete)

Victor Brooks (born May 24, 1941 ) is a former Jamaican long and triple jumper .

In 1962 he finished 13th in the long jump of the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Perth . Four years later, he was fifth in the long jump and eighth in the triple jump at the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Kingston in 1966 .

In the long jump he came in at the 1968 Olympic Games in Mexico City in 15th place, where he set up his personal best in qualifying with 7.72 m. In the same discipline he won bronze at the Central American and Caribbean Championships in 1969.
